Daily schedule
Each hour class will focus on learning/research and independent creative writing. This format will help students develop these skills by practicing them repeatedly in different contexts and for short amounts of time.
4:00 pm - 4:10 pm Welcome & Preparation
4:10 pm - 4:30 pm Lesson & Research
4:30 pm - 4:55 pm Creative Writing
4:55 pm - 5:00 pm Wrap-up & Dismissal
Weekly schedule
Every week, we will explore a new literary genre or convention, with the primary focus on students creating their own story. There may be opportunities for revisiting stories or extending them, but this will not be mandatory.
